DBrown: My name is David Orland Brown and I am your Candidate for Atlanta City Council's 5th District. My platform is Education Reform, Criminal Justice and Mass transit. I want to teach kids about money at an early age, financial independence and literacy. How to make and create bank accounts, incorporate businesses with the Secretary of State -- Holistic home economic skills so many millennials have forgotten. I want to get people out of the cycle of petty arrests and recidivism, which is felt locally and truly hurting the Atlanta community. I want to implement pretrial diversion programs to help get our citizens back contributing to their community, with passion and purpose! None of this does any good if you can't get around town: I want to link MARTA, the Streetcar & BeltLine to better serve the Mass Transit problem Atlanta faces today.
